The collected Fields of Mistria characters directory contains 34 named characters and identifies 12 marriage candidates. Five are grouped as bachelorettes, five as bachelors, and two as special candidates. The remaining directory entries are organized as townsfolk and vendors. Use the romance directory for candidate routes, then open the verified Gift Finder for Loved, Liked, and Most Hated records across the full 34-person roster.
Find the 12 marriage candidates
The confirmed bachelorettes are Adeline, Celine, Juniper, Reina, and Valen. The confirmed bachelors are Balor, Eiland, Hayden, March, and Ryis. Caldarus and Seridia are the two special candidates in the collected v1.0 sources. Together these names make the verified set of 12 marriage candidates.
Each candidate should link to a dedicated relationship page when that page is available. Those detail pages can hold birthday, gift, heart event, location, and background information after each field is verified. This directory should remain the fast index and leave full routes to the dedicated pages. The main romance guide explains the shared relationship and marriage systems.
Understand the special candidate group
Caldarus and Seridia are categorized separately from the five bachelorettes and five bachelors. The current Mistria Guide directory includes both in the 12 romance candidates, while their dedicated route details differ. Caldarus reaches his two, four, and six-heart milestones after The Water Tablet, The Earth Tablet, and Breaking the Fire Seal, while Seridia sends a letter at eight hearts that directs the player to her Temple. These are route-specific milestones, so use each candidate page instead of assuming one shared unlock step.
Special does not mean optional or unofficial. Both names are included in the source-confirmed set of 12 marriage candidates. Their separate category tells the reader that ordinary town access assumptions may not apply. Check the current character page before planning gifts or heart progression around either one.
Browse townsfolk
The current 34-entry directory contains 12 romance candidates, eight vendor entries, and 14 additional residents. Those 14 are Dell, Dozy, Elsie, Errol, Hemlock, Holt, Henrietta, Josephine, Landen, Luc, Maple, Nora, Olric, and Terithia. This resolves the earlier apparent three-name gap, which came from treating overlapping directory filters as exclusive totals. The list was checked against the live Mistria Guide character directory on August 11, 2026.
Townsfolk belong in the shared directory even when they do not have individual pages. A single index keeps the player oriented without creating thin pages that repeat one or two facts. Add birthdays, roles, preferences, and schedules only when those details are supported by the character source. For current route planning, follow a verified dedicated page or the in-game information available to the player.
Browse vendors
The confirmed vendor group contains Darcy, Louis, Merri, Taliferro, Vera, Wheedle, Stillwell, and Zorel. The directory labels them as Cafe Vendor, Clothing Vendor, Furniture Vendor, Chef, Hairstyle and Accessory Vendor, Salesman, Fortune Telling Vendor, and Music Vendor respectively. The hub does not publish a complete inventory, schedule, or permanent-location table for those eight entries. Use the current individual record or in-game shop before traveling for a specific item.
Vendor status and romance status are separate classifications in this directory. None of the eight vendor names should be treated as a marriage candidate based only on this source. The romance list above is the verified authority for that question. This distinction keeps shopping searches from being mixed with relationship routes.
Use the verified gift directory
The current Gift Finder includes the same 34 names shown in this directory. Choose a recipient to browse that villager's Loved, Liked, and Most Hated gifts, or switch to item search to find recipients for an object already in the player's bag. The finder links each result back to the relevant character detail page when one is available.
Gift preference and character category answer different questions. A vendor can still have a complete gift record, while a romance candidate needs heart-event and proposal information in addition to preferences. Use the gift tool for item matching and the dedicated romance pages for birthdays, event conditions, dating, and marriage progress.
The verified v1.0.2 relationship table also records 7 points for a conversation and a 20-point birthday bonus on top of the normal gift value. Loved gifts award 20 points on an ordinary day and Liked gifts award 10, so both tiers can make steady progress. The full point table and Adeline example are kept on the Gift Guide rather than repeated across this directory.
Choose the right next page
Open the romance guide when the goal is dating, proposal, marriage, or comparing all candidates. Open a candidate page when the goal concerns one person's gifts, birthday, events, or location. The live Gift Finder publishes Loved, Liked, and Hated gift records by villager and links back to character details. Return to this directory when the name or category is the missing piece.
